We park at Fort Mason and walk, yes walk to and across the Golden Gate Bridge. According to my Garmin watch, it took us four and a half hours to "hike" the 11 mile roundtripper.
On our return, we walk along the beach watching the dogs play in the water.
Afterwards, we stop at Barney's in Berkeley for a salad and a salmon burger.
