We started out at 7:30 a.m. and finished at 1:45 p.m. The longest and most enjoyable 9-mile hike we ever do. The weather conditions were ideal.
We reached the lookout around 10:30 after going off-trail up the granite face for the "short cut." A nice breeze from the lookout and we had the whole place to ourselves.
