OUCH!

I got the word today that my hiking "brother", Mark G., sustained a broken rib and "a lot of soreness" in a 3-car collision on Campus and Von Karman in Newport Beach, California, on Thursday, February 24, 2010.

One of the vehicles ran a red light going 50 m.p.h. in a 35 m.p.h. zone and slammed into the side of his Cadillac Escalade.

"Sahib" and I hiked a lot together as he prepared for Mt. Whitney.
