WHEN A HOUSE BECOMES A HOME (SORT OF)...

The view of the house from the road.

The garage and RV parking structure.

The firestand next to the pool with garage in the background.

The view from the livingroom and one of the ceiling fans.

The living room with wooden floor with woodburning stove and the culture stone Pam and I put up.

The view looking out our kitchen window. That is a manzanita bush. Can't wait to eat some of its berries.

The firestand and pool and the oak trees in the background.

The pool, the spa off to the right adjacent to our den, and the huge detached garage. The pool temperature is an invigorating 47°.

The view from of our den. When we sit in the spa, this is what we see. And at night, when there is a clear sky, you know what I mean.

The backyard looking down into the canyon. Our property line extends well into the oak groves.

The rack, the vertical knee lift to the far left and the roman chair at the lower right corner.

The setup. It is a bit chilly in the garage, but isn't that what a home gym is all about. I can't wait until spring and summer when things start to really "cook."

The set up and the Pearl drums. The white stripe on the lower left is the ping pong table. After Pam and I work out we play a game. She wins every time. And when she does, I take it out on the drums.

The spa and patio in the backyard looking back from the garage. The rose bushes are starting to bloom.

The western Sierra Nevada. At night, the hills twinkle from lights homes in the hills nearby. Reminiscent of the Peter Pan (according to Pam).

Zooming in on the mountains near Bass Lake.

The "house" finally became a "home" when the new dishwasher got installed.

Since we bought our house in October, we had purchased and installed:

Wood flooring and carpeting
Entertainment unit
Vizio 52-inch HDTV
GE Front-loading washer and dryer
GE Side-by-side refrigerator
Wine cooler (replaced the ugly trash compactor)
GE Dishwasher
Jenn-Air electric stove and grill
Ceiling fans (6)
Light fixtures for the living room, hallway, laundry room and bathrooms
Cultured stone and wood for the fireplace mantel
Epic Marquis Spa
Fireplace island (propane) with lava rocks (I am going to get glass)
Patio chairs (4) with pads
Weight set by TuffStuff.

The last "three" items on our list are a new microwave, stove, and a surround sound system.

Pam and I have literally spoiled ourselves since moving to the Northern Aerietories. We love it up here.

We look forward to our friends to visit us when they are in the area.

They may never want to leave...
